Christmas review and more

Our Christmas was uneventful and perfect. We went to my parents for traditional Christmas Eve dinner and gift exchange. The kids always get pajamas for gifts.
Roxie and Peter waiting with the rest of their cousins for the gifts. Aren't they cute!
Roxie got a pair of ballerina pajamas because this is the first year that she's taken ballet lessons. She's worn them almost every night since.
Peter and cousin Henry sporting their new jammies and chew toys. These two are only a few months apart and are sure to be friends.

Christmas day was spent in our new home for the first time. After Roxie woke us up at 4:45 to open presents (and after we shuttled her back to bed until 7:00) we had a wonderful breakfast made by Matt. Presents were opened and played with all day. It was a peaceful Christmas.

Matt's company has a "Christmas shutdown" so he just went back to work for the first time today after a long break. The house is quiet and lonely. Roxie also started preschool today and is away "doing her learning" as she puts it. We have enjoyed our break together and loved the time spent with one another. We nursed Matt after getting his wisdom teeth out, played in the snow plenty, did a motherload of fashion shows,
spent loads of time with cousins and friends, and Roxie even went to her first ever movie in the theatre. She was ever so proud of herself. Peter got his first haircut, done by me. Not so good. It was reafirmed to me that I have no skills when it comes to scissors and hair. I can't bring myself to take down the decorations and we're still listening to the Jackson 5 Christmas album. It all ended too soon.

Peter looks so much like Roxie in that picture! Adorable little siblings.

p.s. Can Roxie email me my fortune? She's obviously got some gypsy in her.

I don't know I've ever had a perfect Christmas before but I'm sure glad you're family did. Peter & Roxie are starting so much more alike to me. They are both so so cute.

Oh the babes in jammies. They can kill me. And the blinging Rox and the end. Loving it.
